On more than the half of the vineyard Burgundian's shoots are growing. The strict ground of the weather-beaten new red sandstone is an ideal substrate for these shoots. In the vineyard all registers are pulled to harvest the best late Burgundian grapes (old shoots, low yield, costly foliage work and strictly selective vintage).This red wine Parzival is a Blend from late Burgundian, the grape Domina and Cabernet Dorsa. From the Domina there is a nearly 40 year-old vineyard which grows very nice grapes.With its dark colour, the strong Tannins and his Cabernetnote Parzival fits perfect to strong meat dishes.The best winemaker in Brgstadt, some would say in Franconia, is Paul Frst who benefits from the warm, sheltert slopes of Centgrafenberg...Wines such as Frsts are made in a highly contemporary idiom.
