The reason for the incorporation of this new wine to the Single Vineyard range is to be able to express in a bottle the unique character of the old vineyards that were planted in the south of Chile many years ago. In general, and for reasons unknown to us, the vineyards were planted as field blends, with several different varieties mixed up at
random, some of which are impossible to identify. This wine presents a brilliant deep violet red colour. On the nose it is intense and balanced, very floral, with subtle notes that remind one of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. The oak ageing is wonderfully integrated and achieves a level of elegance rarely seen in Chilean wines. The palate
is full and complex, with smooth ripe tannins and a long lingering finish.
