This Sauvignon Blanc intrigues me - not so much the super racy version we know from New Zealand but more old-world, Loire perhaps? The aromas are honeycomb and rich minerals, some white fruits and citrus at first, then tropical fruits appear - melon and pineapple. The palate is weighty, almost oily with soft acidity - beeswax and fresh mineral flavours reappear on the palate with just a suggestion of typical Sauvignon herbaceousness.(Jg. 2007, Wine Scores Reviewed - May 22nd, 2009)
